I recently bought a LG smart HD TV to replace my 10 year old wide screen Sony TV. Great decision, lovely TV. It came with a 3 month subscription to Sky NowTV movies and 6 sport day passes.
So far, so great until trying to get NowTV to work. Try as I might I had no joy. Contacted Nowtv bods though they were no help.
Just today though found a tid bit of info on the great inter web which has some my problem. So here I am passing on the same to those who find themselves in the same predicament of "cannot contact stream", "oops we have a problem" or any of the other cannot stream to you messages.
It is as easy as entering the IP address details manually (set up automatically and then go to manual, take note of the settings and re-enter manually) and then enter the following for the dns entry, 4.2.2.2 (why? No idea but it works. Info care of a page on the Now TV community board)
Voila! working NowTV through your LG TV. Wonder why this Info is not displayed prominently on the website? Off to tell them now.
